Our History

    1970

    Ellingson Drainage is founded, installing concrete and clay tile with a wheel trencher in West Concord, MN.

  • Laser-guided high-speed trencher in agricultural field, showcasing advanced machinery for drainage tile installation, relevant to Ellingson Companies' service offerings.
    1971

    Purchase a laser-guided high speed trencher for tile installation – and permanently changed from clay and concrete drainage tile to longer lasting, higher quality plastic drainage tile.

  • International tile plow machinery used by Ellingson Companies for transitioning to plowing method in construction, set in a field.
    1976

    Purchase our first tile plow – and transitioned from installing tile using the trenching method to installing tile using the plowing method.

  • Notice of incorporation for Ellingson Drainage, Inc. in legal announcement format, dated January 1, 1979.
    1979

    Notice of Incorporation and expand from 1 machine to 2 machines.

    1989

    Invest in first computerized mapping system, AutoCAD design system and a Total Station – leading to more efficient and more accurate maps and designs.
